Wisenet Wave – Updating the Software

There are multiple ways of updating Wave VMS. You have a choice to automatically update or update with a click of a button or even update manually if the server cannot connect to a network. The Wave may have a few patch releases in between the official releases. The software will not automatically update to the patch version but can be easily updated with a few simple steps.

When the client is updated to a higher version and tries to connect to the server; the VMS will prompt a message to update the server to the same version so they may be compatible. If the server is on a higher version the client will prompt a message to update to the same version as the server.

*Before performing any update, always backup your information and database*

Online Update Method:

  1. verify that the system has stable internet connection.
