Laser technology performs well in very complicated lighting conditions in the subway or at railway stations. The monitoring area can be set to ignore passing trains and only trigger when a person has entered the detection area. While this improves passenger safety, this solution can also be used to protect against vandalism and security attacks. The security system and personnel are warned if a person is intentionally in the track area or if an object has been left behind. The system is flexible enough to be configured to allow different scenarios and different sizes of objects to meet the needs of subway or rail operators.

A laser sensor can detect objects in all lighting conditions and accurately measure their size down 10 cm, position and movement anywhere within a 30m radius. The system can be connected to the camera system and so that, for example, moving cameras can go to the position of the alarm and at the same time strike an alarm to the security operator, or it can also be connected to the signal system.
